Pala Fisher

Pala Fisher is a Provisionally Registered Creative Arts Therapist working for Mauri Tui Tuia in Tāmaki Makaurau. Born in Taranaki and now living on Te Motu-arai-roa/Waiheke Island, Pala has 25+ years experience as an educator, performer and facilitator of creative experiences for people of all ages and capacities.

Pala is passionate about working within schools to support trauma informed communities of care. Inspired by her personal experiences of the healing power of play, movement and humour, and grounded in a deep trust in the improvisational nature of creative and therapeutic processes, Pala works with child-led heart-centered curiosity, calling upon all the arts as co-creative play unfolds.
