Hanno is a Registered Music Therapist working for Mauri Tui Tuia in Kaikohe, Te Tai Tokerau. He is passionate about connection, community, and creating safe, supportive spaces through music.

His approach is person-centred, neuroaffirming, and strengths-focused. Hanno meets each young person where they are, using music to support expression, regulation, and a deeper sense of self. Music can reach beyond words—helping to process experiences, shift energy, and foster connection in ways that feel natural and engaging.

Hanno brings warmth, curiosity, and creativity into his work, offering sessions that are grounded, playful, and gently transformative. He is especially drawn to co-creation, rhythm, and exploring each persons unique musical voice.
