Hannah Eriksen-Gowing is a Registered Creative Arts Therapist working for Mauri Tui Tuia in Tāmaki Makaurau. I'm passionate about nurturing creativity, connection, and wellbeing in tamariki and their communities. My practice is grounded in a deep respect for the natural world, the healing power of artistic expression, and the principles of Te Tiriti oWaitangi.
With a strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming, and trauma-informed approach, I create safe, inclusive spaces where children feel empowered to explore their inner worlds and develop tools for emotional expression and regulation. I believe that play, imagination, and creativity are essential pathways to resilience and connection.
Relational and intuitive in my work, I value collaboration with kaiako, whānau, and wider support teams to ensure children are held within a circle of care. I am inspired by the rhythms of nature, the wisdom of tamariki, and the ways art can gently invite healing, insight, and joy.
