Gabrielle Stoddard is a Registered Creative Arts Therapist working for Mauri Tui Tuia in Tāmaki Makaurau.
She is passionate about supporting the well-being of her community through a neuro-affirming, trauma-informed lens, opening up the exploration of language and resourcing through art and expression.
With a background in visual arts, Gabrielle brings her expressive and artistic side into her practice. She grounds her work in a multimodal approach, with a particular interest in the interaction between modalities and how this can open up new ways of connecting to ourselves, our communities, and te whenua beyond words.
Gabrielle has worked closely with many communities identifying as neurodivergent and/or disabled. She is especially passionate about working with movement and visual arts alongside those who do not communicate through words, and with their carers and support networks, to celebrate their range of expression.
