Danielle Jelleyman is a Registered Creative Arts Therapist working for Mauri Tui Tuia in Te Tai Tokerau, Aotearoa. She loves to work collaboratively to create spaces for tamariki, kaiako and their whānau to feel seen and safe. Danielle worked for seven years as a new entrant teacher in Tāmaki Makarau before moving to Sweden with her husband from 2020-2022 where she worked at an international school. She also spent time as a digital design researcher. Danielle engages in her own creativity, including illustrating children’s books. She is particularly interested in how the playful nature of creative arts can help with processing complex feelings and build resilience.
