Bex (Rebekah) Williamson

Bex Williamson is a Registered Dance Movement Therapist working for Mauri Tui Tuia in Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland, Aotearoa/New Zealand. With a passion for working with children and their parents/caregivers in various contexts, she facilitates support through movement, breath, creative expression, and play. She utilises a person-centred, strengths-based, holistic approach, with a strong focus on connection. Bex has offered Dance Movement Therapy in a range of settings, specialising in education, neurodiversity and disability.

Growing up in Ōtautahi, in a bicultural family, and takes this experience with her as she moves through the world.

Bex has a background in street and stage performance with dance and circus arts. Her primary modality is dance/movement, however she also incorporates art making, music and performance arts into her approach.
